Here is a note about what they did:
We have had a wonderful week in the rain forest this week. We learned about the structure of the forest, who lives there, what grows there and why it's so important. We turned into monkeys and swung from the trees and ate chocolate covered bananas! We created rainsticks, finger painted a rain forest and made snakes. We read several books about the rain forest, the favorite being The Great Kappok Tree.
On Wednesday we had the special treat of a soccer clinic given by UK Elite. The children played a number of games that taught different skills and had a wonderful time doing it. The favorites were the Nemo game and the car game - ask your child how they are played.
On Thursday we were able to use the pool and the water table outside! Everyone had a wonderful time splashing and getting wet.
Today we are celebrating Shabbat, as we do every Friday. Shabbat Shalom! Have a great weekend and Happy Father's Day!
