Clara Eats Broccoli

The kids had lots of fun at their friend Joshie's 2nd birthday party. They took a nap with Daddy on the floor. After, it was off to look at real big kid beds, where they made sure to try out every single bed in the store. They joined Mommy and Daddy to look at some sconces as well and both decided that the "one with the diamonds" was their favorite. Since they had taken a late nap and were in good spirits, it was a great night for dinner out at Hurricane Grill.

At dinner, Clara saw Mommy's broccoli on the plate and asked for some. Mommy and Daddy looked at her, gave her some and just watched. She actually picked it up, tried it and said "mmm, I love it. It is green.I'm eating a vegetable."

Yep, the kid that has had no interest in a vegetable and screams if anything green comes near her plate, actually requested it and ate it.

And, just to double check it wasn't a fluke, Mommy made it for dinner tonite. Emma refused to try it, but Clara, she happily ate it again.
