Emma is fine. But, after 24 hours of a fever, a little vomitting and then, of course, in the late afternoon, she started complaining that the side of her stomach hurt and well, there was no way around it at 5:30 p.m. So, off to the ER Mommy, Daddy and Emma went. Thank goodness that Grandma and Grandpa Frome were here to help.
Emma weighed in at a smidge over 28 lbs and had a 102 degree fever. After an examination, Emma and Mommy went to attempt to get Emma to give a urine sample in a cup. Emma did a GREAT job and she was able to pee in a cup like a big girl. The doctors also did a strep test and UTI test, but everything came back negative.
After only 3 hours, the experience was over and the gang was headed home.
