Peaches, Indoor Fun and Visiting Daddy at Work

Clara and Emma have had a very mellow week, mostly recovering from their little colds. Mommy also spent time recovering from the stomach bug and then the cold she got. The Gornsteins all want to know when winter will end!!

On Wednesday, Clara and Emma had peaches and seemed to enjoy them. Since the girls were mostly indoors, Mommy debuted some new toys which seem to excite Clara and Emma. Clara also tried on her summer hat to shield her eyes from the morning sun.

Thursday, the girls practiced sitting up and were able to it for extended periods of time without tipping over. Clara also spent much of this week sticking her tounge out when she smiled. Mommy and Daddy keep telling her to put it back in.

On Friday morning, Clara and Emma played with Yolanda. Emma played dentist (sticking her hands in Yolanda's mouth) and Clara did "arriba, abajo- up and down." Also, Mommy called her new friend Judith (she picked her up at Pinkberry) and set up a playdate with her twins. It was a fun visit. In the afternoon, Mommy took Clara and Emma on a nice walk with building friends Mari and Charlie. The girls also wore new hats made by Grandma Frome.

Saturday, Mommy and Daddy took Clara and Emma to Daddy's office for a visit and a nice walk around midtown. Emma enjoyed playing with Daddy's computer and both girls liked greeting everyone in the front. The girls also tried butternut squash, made by Mommy and enjoyed it, especially putting it all over themselves.
