Clara and Emma are 7 Months!

Clara and Emma are 7 months. This past month brought many, many firsts.

The girls continue to sleep through the night and go to bed at around 6:30, after their 6 pm bottle. They seem to enjoy playing together in their "nap area" in Mommy and Daddy's room before finally settling down. Clara still puts her finger in her mouth and falls asleep easily. Emma continues to fuss a bit and loves moving around before she finds her comfortable position. The girls spent the month waking up at around 6:15-30. Mommy went to them at about 6:40 and they enjoyed their bottle at 7. At 8, Mommy fed them breakfast. It was quite a feat to learn how to feed the girls at the same time. It was also messy, especially for Clara, as she enjoyed playing with the food and taking the spoon. By 8:15, the girls were ready for a nap, which continued to be short, about 30-45 minutes. By 10:30, they were ready for the bottle and took their nap from 11-1. Another bottle was given at 2 ish followed by another nap, well, at least for Clara. Dinner was at 5, followed by a bath every other day, storytime and bottle.

At the start of the month, the girls began solid foods and now have two meals, breakfast and dinner. They enjoy oatmeal, avocado, mango, pear, apple, banana, papaya, sweet potato, butternut squash, peaches and prunes. They also enjoy trying to drink water from their sippy cups.

Clara loves being called "Claralicous, so delicous." She continues to smile more and more. She is a penguin because she sort of floats on her tummy and doesn't understand that she needs her arms to move.
