Mommy and Daddy like putting the toys on Clara and Emma's heads like hats. The girls seem to think it is funny too. Wednesday was a pretty mellow day. In the afternoon, building friend Stacey and her son, Alex came for a visit. Clara didn't eat solids on Wednesday or Thursday because of her dislike of peas (at least that is what Mommy thinks).
The girls love sitting alone and are doing a very good job of it. Clara continues to work on getting up on her knees and going backwards. She seems to get frustrated because Emma goes forward and she hasn't mastered this skill yet.
Last night, Mommy noticed a tooth budding in Emma's mouth. Her gums are swolled and Mommy felt it coming through the gum and saw a black dot with white, which Grandpa Frome confirmed that a tooth was on its way! Look for news on the arrival of her first tooth soon!
This morning, Clara and Emma enjoyed carrots and wanted more and more. Emma enjoyed playing with the shadows today and practiced going from crawling to sitting up all by herself. This time, she was on her side lounging and pushed herself up to sitting. In the late morning, Annie and Mommy took Clara and Emma to a Little Maestros concert with friends Judith and twins Marielle and Eloise and Monica and twins Matthew and Lauren. Clara and Emma both loved when the bubbles came. It was lots of fun!
