Clara and Emma seem to have adjusted to their new orange booster seats. Clara is excited to sit in it and Emma doesn't seem to mind.
After speech, it was off to LIFE. Clara and Emma enjoyed using the rope to climb up the structure. Clara has figured out how to do it herself and looks like she is mountain climbing. However, once she gets in the play structure, she wants to go to the top, but isn't big enough to navigate it, so Mommy has to go in and help her up to the high slide, again and again. It was a treat today because friends Gwenn and Ethan came to play.
This afternoon, Emma woke up and must have hit her mouth on something, because when Mommy went to get her, she was bleeding. She was fine and Mommy figured out pretty quickly that it was from her mouth- something Mommy has encountered before with Emma- and that these areas bleed from small cuts. Emma was most upset because her beloved purple hippo had blood on it and she requested "a new one." Mommy promised she'd fix him. Thank goodness for the new oxi clean, because the blood came out and as Emma said tonite, "Mommy, you did it, you fixed my hippo," as she hugged him tightly.
Mommy took the gals to the mall to check out the Nordstrom sale. Mommy looked at the bras and was quite entertained (as were the rest of the shoppers), when Emma and Clara (joining in, of course), said "I need a bra too."
Emma has been saying lots of "I love my sister" and " I love that song, it is my favorite." And, the monkey see, monkey do, continues in the Gornstein household. It is so predictable too.
