Fever and Auntie Alyssa Comes to Play

Well, it was bound to happen. After over 13 months with no major illness other than a very minor cold, Clara woke up very early this morning burning up. After her morning nap, her fever was 103. Mommy gave her some tylenol and took her to the dr. They said it is too early to see anything, but to keep an eye on her and there is nothing to do to prevent Emma from catching it. Mommy was grateful to have Aunt Alyssa's extra set of hands to help go to the dr. today. After the dr., Mommy took everyone to lunch at City Limits in the mall. It was nice and Clara and Emma ate soupd chicken noodle soup and grilled cheese (yum). Clara and Emma slept on the way home and then continued their nap in their cribs. Mommy gave the ladies a bath in the afternoon to help cool them off and got them down early. Clara was a good girl and finished her bottle and Emma wasn't interested, until Mommy left the room. Mommy returned and tried to give Emma the bottle while she was standing in her crib. This has happened a few times recently and Mommy doesn't want Emma to get into this habit but is at the same time, happy she is drinking some milk...
