More Solids, Superbowl and Mommy's Foot

Clara and Emma had a busy Sunday and beginning of the week. The girls contined to have oatmeal. Mommy keeps experimenting with the thickness. She started with a very soupy oatmeal but has been trying it a bit thicker as per advice of friends. The girls seem to enjoy it. Like Saturday, Mommy gave the oatmeal at 1030 am, but on Monday, tried it earlier, at 8ish. The girls continue to like putting their hands in it and Clara especially likes taking the spoon. Believe it or not, some does end up in their mouths! Mommy got excited and tried to do a feeding at 445 on Monday too.


Sunday afternoon, Mommy and Daddy took the girls on a nice long walk to Dan's apartment for the Superbowl. The girls wore their new hats and stopped traffic on the whole ride. Mommy and Daddy were glad they left at halftime!

On Monday, Clara and Emma wore new clothes in size 9 months! Mommy got Emma and Clara a new toy- a cell phone. Now, when Mommy is on the phone, the girls can talk also. On Monday, during the afternoon feeding, Clara showed how she likes taking her bottle on her own and practiced putting it in her mouth.
