From their teacher
"Last saturday we explored saying good-bye to Shabbat with Havdalah. We learned that for Havdalah there is a spice box, a braided or twisted candle and a kiddish cup. Each child made their own Havdalah set which consists of a spice bag with cloves and jewish stars, and a candle made out of wiki sticks. Since Havdalah is saying good-bye to Shabbat, we also drew a picture showing how we would say good-bye. To conlcude our exploration of Havadlah, we had did our own service. I also explained that with Havadalah we can leave everything that happened in the previous week there and start fresh for the new week. We all shared something that we want to leave in the previous week, and what we can do differently in the week to come. I hope that everyone is enjying smelling those cloves all over the house."
The kids came home and begged to do Havdalah. So Mommy did. They live dipping the candle in water!
