Clara enjoyed "talking" all month. Mommy and Daddy loved when she would occassionally wake up and sing and then go back to sleep. She liked blowing raspberries and drooling quite a bit. This month also featured Clara sleeping through the night, which she started right when she returned from visiting Grandma and Grandpa Frome in Maryland.Clara also learned to roll both from her back to her tummy and her tummy to her back. Her favorite toys included the newly introduced exersaucer and special Hanukkah present from Aunt Alyssa, Big Bird. She also loved her o-ball, new blue elephant which came from Ariella and Scott for Hanukkah, and liked watching the mobile and signing along. She spent many, many hours playing with the gymini and occassionally sat in the puppy bouncy seat.
Emma is still working on "talking" and made sounds with her mouth closed. She isn't sleeping through the night and still needed a night feeding at 11 ish. She woke up a few more times during the night and Mommy still doesn't know why. Emma also loved the exersaucer and playing with Big Bird. She also loved the o-ball and grabbing the blue elephant (and sucking on it). She still didn't like tummy time, but tolerated it more on the boppy.
Mommy and Daddy loved watching Clara and Emma become familiar with each other. They sat and looked at each other in the bumbo seats and seemed concerned when one of them cried. They also played together on the gymini during the day and often sucked on each others hands.
