Just When You Though It Was Safe

Nothing beats a call from the school nurse, second day in a row, other kid.
This time for lice.

Mommy, upset, took Emma straight to Dale to get her head checked and clean. Guess what - no lice. School wouldn't take her back, and Mommy decided to clean everything just in case.. Including Clara..

So much for Thursday.

100th Day of School

Clara and Emma decided to dress like one another and were convinced the only thing different was the glasses for Clara.

It is the 100 th day of school so the kids are having some activities at school today.

Clara got sent home with pink eye, but was excited to show off her 100 piece fruit loop necklace.

American Girl NYC

It was a very fun filled day in NYC for Clara and Emma.

The day started with a visit to the immunologist for Clara. She had to get blood drawn, which she was not thrilled about. Unfortunately, she got car sick on the way to the city, which meant a new red dress purchase at Gap.

Then, a quick hello with friend Ashley at the AG store before having lunch with Grandma Silvia and Mommy.

Clara and Emma happily hailed their own cab and headed downtown to the Children's Museum of Arts. They loved participating in all if the interactive projects

Hamentachen

The kids came home from a sleepover with Grandma and Grandpa Gornstein and made hamentachen.

And bounce they did! They loved jumping on the giant trampolines!!

Big Girl Haircuts

Today, both kids went to Mommy's salon to get haircuts and blowouts!

Valentine's Day

Emma, home with the flu ( despite getting a flu shot), was able to enjoy the day because Clara schlepped home her whole bag and Emma's bag of valentines!

Philly

Mommy took the ladies for a quick getaway to Philadelphia to meet Grandma and Grandpa Frome.

Monday was very busy. After a huge hotel breakfast, it was a walk to the Franklin Institute. Clara and Emma loved walking through the human heart and learning about science. They had a terrific time.

They got some ice cream at the Reading Market and then took a swim at the hotel pool.

After a rest, it was off to Max Brenner for dinner and a very chocolatey dessert!

On Tuesday, before heading back to NY the kids visited the Please Touch Museim.
